We are working with a global strategy consultancy that specialise in insight-led strategy and design for brand, experience and innovation. They are a full service consultancy that enable businesses to create new brands and products, often leveraging primary consumer insights. Clients span all sectors, with an amazing list including PepsiCo, McDonalds, Toyota and Disney to name a few.
This is an opportunity to spearhead their data offering to clients across the US, UK and Europe. The role is heading up their data strategy, with the aim of giving richer insights using broader and more diverse data sets. We are looking for someone with a wealth of experience in consulting, market reserach and insight analytics.
Given the seniority of the position, the core focus will be leading the analytics and data projects as well as upselling their capabilities inhouse within the wider group and directly to clients. Although you will have experience with advanced data analysis and visualisation tools e.g. Tableau, SQL, Python, R, SPSS, etc. and third party market tools Brandwatch, GWI, YouGov Profiles, Mintel, SimilarWeb); they are after an expert who can turn this data into tangible insight and recommendations.
The consultancy are owned by a larger group who spend millions on data sets, tools and programs; so there is plenty to work with and a huge reach to the role. You will be responsible for spearheading the consultancy’s product roadmap and commercial offering for data driven marketing and digital transformation agenda.
This role is backed by the Board, they are looking for someone who has the inspiration to grow the practice. There is significant investment in tools that are already available (over $5 million), it’s not building the function from scratch. It’s an unrivalled opportunity to develop the businesses strategy within analytics further.
