  • Salary up to £55k depending on experience
  • Central London office
  • Hybrid and flexible working

We are working with an international business consultancy that specialise in insights and strategy. They do some fascinating strategic work, helping clients understand complex social, cultural and economic dynamics and how these affect their consumers. Their work spans innovation and brand strategy, behavioural science and analytics.

They are looking to hire 2 Qualitative Associate Directors within the Qual Consumer team and the Qual Public Sector team. They are looking for someone with a good traditional qual foundation (focus groups, moderation, online communities, semiotics etc.), who is willing to work across the consultancy team.

The public sector work they do is a blend of working with different Governemnt departments, regulators and charitable related clients including Department for Business and Trade, Foreign Office, HMRC, Ofcom, Wellcome Trust, Macmillan CRUK and others. Projects include understanding business perception around the UK from a foreign policy point of view, and other fascinating and real world impact projects like protecting people from gambling harms, online harms etc. This is s a great chance for someone who is willing to move to social impact research!

On the consumer side, they work across tech and media, beauty, retail etc. doing some very interesting strategic work with case studies including “what does family mean today”, “how to get the nation to eat healthy”, “how to take a luxury fitness experience online” etc.

You will:

  • Lead the entire project lifecycle
  • Write proposals and support pitches
  • Develop and build client relationships
  • Use a wide range of qual techniques (focus groups, moderation, online communities, life-logging etc.)
  • Have the possibility to progress and develop your career to Director level

You will have the opportunity to get involved with different areas of the business and move to a more strategic and consultancy type of work, placing you in the best position to develop your career!
