About the Role:
We are working with a public sector organisation who is looking for someone with experience with market trends/forecasting and market intelligence to join their Global team based in the UK.
As part of an international team with networks in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, you’ll analyse visitor data and market trends to support global operations and key partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead market insights for international divisions, from in-depth strategic planning to ad hoc reports.
- Communicate clear, story-driven insights for decision-making, focusing on critical trends and data.
- Develop and implement a market insights strategy.
- Deliver engaging, data-driven infographics and ensure timely updates on market performance.
- Oversee interactive data tools to streamline insights for users across regions.
- Present insights to internal and external audiences, including industry events.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong analytical skills and experience in market intelligence, ideally within the travel or tourism sector.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint to create clear, visually compelling data presentations.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to present complex data in an engaging narrative.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple stakeholder needs effectively.
- Knowledge of global tourism markets and the ability to synthesize diverse data sources.
Bonus Points For:
- Public sector experience, line management experience, or familiarity with data visualization tools like PowerBI.
