Qualitative Researcher – Social Purpose

  • Maternity Cover – 12 months (flexible start)
  • London based, hybrid working 2 days a week in office
  • £50,000 – £60,000 base salary + benefits including 30 days annual leave, private healthcare, pension + more

 
We are collaborating with an award-winning, independent social research consultancy to recruit a Qualitative or Mixed Methods Associate Director for a 12-month maternity cover.
 
Their projects address policy research, communications and services, making this an excellent opportunity for someone interested in diverse subject areas with a focus on impactful, social change-driven research.
 
Their work primarily spans health and well being, sustainability and climate change, social inclusion and democratic reform. Recent projects have explored behaviour change and promoting energy-efficient practices in homes, understanding lived experiences of disability benefit applicants to retention in clinical health trials.
 
Role Overview:
This is a full-service research role, where you will oversee the design, delivery, analysis and reporting of research projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in public sector or social impact research and be particularly adept at writing detailed reports suited to this sector.
 
Day to day:

  • Manage project teams on small to medium sized projects.
  • Day to day client lead.
  • Help with new business and proposal writing / responding to bids.
  • Hands on with qualitative / mixed method research design, fieldwork and analysis.
  • Report writing.

 
This role is suited to someone passionate about social impact, who thrives in a collaborative and innovative environment.
