We are working with a research and design consultancy that do a mixture of qualitative research and cultural insights, for a mixture of commercial and social impact briefs. They are a boutique agency, with a strong leadership team from impressive backgrounds. They are looking to hire an Associate Director with expertise across Cultural Insights (paired with Qual & Semiotics).

They were founded as a behavioural change and design business who unpack cultural complexity to address societal challenges. As a business, they take inspiration from ethnography, social sciences, human centred design, cultural insights, behavioural science and documentary methods. Their outputs are something that really stand out, from documentaries and films to interactive reports, they really get impact from there. They also have an in-house studio.

It’s not only rare to get a role this mixed without pigeonholing you into a sector but also a chance to do innovative research work, using cultural strategy and semiotic approaches to mix with qual work.

The role is working as a key member of the team, a lynchpin as a manager of some of the larger projects they do, being the day to day contact and that key person between directors and juniors. You’ll come in and maintain, grow and enhance their expanding commercial insight and strategic consultancy relationships. You’ll be hungry to win work and continue the growth of this area.
