Head of Research

• Head of Research – Banking & Payments industry
• London, hybrid (3 days office)
• Salary up to £120,000 + benefits

We’re hiring a Head of Research to lead data-driven research across Banking and Payments, shaping how AI is benchmarked across the financial services sector.

You’ll own end-to-end research delivery – from idea generation and hypothesis testing through to analysis, authorship, and ongoing insight updates – turning complex data into clear, compelling stories for senior stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

• Author thought leadership pieces and mid-year research reports
• Analyse AI adoption trends using quantitative and qualitative methods
• Partner with client-facing teams to shape industry point-of-view
• Interview industry experts and stay ahead of emerging AI trends
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and designers

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in research, market intelligence, and financial services
• Knowledge of Banking & Payments
• Excellent quantitative analysis and writing skills
• Confident communicator with a passion for data-driven storytelling
• Exposure to AI, and emerging tech shaping the industry
