Research Manager – Qualitative Research London (Hybrid) | Up to £45,000 DOE

We’re partnering with an award-winning independent insight agency to recruit a talented Research Manager to join their growing qualitative team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a collaborative group of researchers delivering strategic insight to an impressive portfolio of UK and international clients across technology, gaming, media, FMCG, retail, finance, beauty, travel, sport and B2B.

The Role As a Research Manager, you’ll take ownership of a variety of qualitative research projects, working closely with senior colleagues while enjoying the autonomy to lead day-to-day delivery.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing multiple qualitative research projects from proposal to presentation
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as the main day-to-day contact
  • Writing discussion guides, screeners and other research materials
  • Moderating interviews, focus groups and online qualitative research
  • Analysing findings and producing engaging, insight-led reports
  • Coordinating project teams, timelines and budgets to ensure seamless delivery

About You You’ll bring:

  • Around 4+ years’ experience in qualitative market research
  • Experience working with technology and/or financial services clients (or a genuine interest in these sectors)
  • Strong qualitative research skills across traditional and digital methodologies
  • Excellent moderation, analysis and storytelling skills
  • Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional insight

Experience with emerging AI-enabled qualitative research tools would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
