Project Director, Strategic Research Programmes

We’re hiring an experienced Project Director to lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex quantitative and qualitative research programmes for a well‑established UK research consultancy.

The role

• Own projects from setup through to delivery, including plans, schedules, risk registers and budgets
• Manage timelines, resources, scope and fieldwork across multiple projects
• Uphold high standards of quality, data protection and documentation
• Lead client conversations on scope, progress and issue resolution
• Contribute to proposals, costings and business improvement initiatives
• Coach colleagues in project management best practice

You’ll bring

• Significant project management experience in research, insight, consultancy or professional services
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets and profitability
• Experience leading and developing colleagues
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills
• Confidence with project management systems and Microsoft Office
