Data Management & QC Executive
📍 London (Hybrid) | £28,000–£30,000 + Bonus + Benefits
I’m partnering with a specialist healthcare research and data business that is looking to hire a Data Management & QC Executive to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys working with data, has exceptional attention to detail, and wants to develop expertise in a highly regulated and intellectually interesting sector.
This role is focused on supporting quantitative research projects by ensuring the accuracy, quality and integrity of data throughout the project lifecycle. Rather than managing research projects end-to-end, you’ll become the go-to person for data management, quality control and reporting accuracy, playing a vital role in delivering trusted insights to clients.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and maintaining structured Excel workbooks containing raw data, summary data and tabulations
- Producing clean and accurate cross-tabulations and data tables
- Conducting detailed quality checks across Excel, PowerPoint and Word deliverables
- Verifying figures, percentages and base sizes against source data
- Identifying, investigating and resolving data discrepancies before final sign-off
- Supporting quantitative data analysis using Excel and, where applicable, SPSS
- Maintaining clear version control and audit trails throughout the reporting process
- Contributing to process improvements, templates and quality assurance initiatives
- Developing knowledge of healthcare research, real-world data and regulatory requirements
What they’re looking for:
- A degree (preferably 2:1 or above), ideally in a numerate, scientific or analytical discipline
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables and structured data management
- Excellent numerical ability and confidence working with survey data
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to checking work
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in market research, data management, data processing or a related field would be advantageous, but is not essential
- Exposure to SPSS or other statistical software would be beneficial
Why consider this opportunity?
- Excellent entry point into healthcare and market research
- Opportunity to develop specialist data and QC expertise
- Hybrid working with flexibility
- Clear opportunity for long-term development and progression
- Collaborative and supportive team environment
- Bonus scheme, healthcare and strong overall benefits package
If you’re someone who genuinely enjoys working with data, takes pride in spotting details that others might miss, and is looking for a role where accuracy and quality are highly valued, I’d be keen to speak with you.
