This is a brilliant opportunity for a senior research and Impact Evaluation specialist to join the leadership team of an award winning, independent social research agency.

This is a core position within a values-driven and people-focused organisation where you will play a pivotal role in building internal expertise and steering the strategic direction of their expanding evaluation function.

You will focus on driving their capabilities within research and impact evaluation. You’ll be central to strengthening their offer, working across policy areas such as sustainability, net zero, economic development, financial services and regulation.

You’ll be at the forefront of designing and delivering theory based and mixed method evaluations; working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to design and deliver impactful research for UK Government departments.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead complex impact evaluation design and delivery.
  • Grow capability via contributing to bids, pitches and overall business strategy.
  • Provide technical mentorships to colleagues, enhancing internal knowledge.
  • Be the subject matter specialist at the organisation.

We are looking for someone with substantial experience in applying impact evaluation from a research agency / consultancy.

  • Base salary of £65,000 – £80,000 + significant bonus.
