Head of Data and Insights

We are working with a national client side charity seeking a head of data!

The role:

• Establish a data and insight function
• Develop a data strategy
• Work across functions to make it happen
• Conducting thorough analysis and interpretation of internal and external data to support informed decision-making.
• Building and maintaining external collaborations to share, merge, and analyse data, fostering cross-sector insights and new opportunities.

Skills needed:

✅ Advanced skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), SQL/NoSQL, and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
✅ Experience with Google Analytics, Firebase, and data visualisation tools like Tableau and Power BI to derive actionable insights.
✅ Familiarity with tools for managing large datasets, e.g. GCP, AWS, Hadoop, and BigQuery.
✅ Expertise in building reports and dashboards using Power BI and the Microsoft Azure Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate).
✅ Strong knowledge of analytics, insight tools, and project management technologies to support data-driven decision-making.
