Insight and Reporting Analyst (Tableau)

  • Salary: £35,000 – £40,000
  • Location: Fully remote, with occasional travel to London for meetings.
  • 30 days of annual leave + bank holidays.

Client side role within the Education sector.

About the Role: We are working with a well known name in the Education sector. This position reports to the Head of Insights and is embedded within the Marketing team. The role involves working with a wealth of internal data, including sales demographics, applications, and assessment data. Your primary focus will be to transform this data into insightful reports and interactive dashboards using Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create quarterly charts and develop dashboards to enable stakeholders to self-serve 75% of their data queries, with the remaining 25% addressed by the Head of Insights.
  • Manipulate and analyse complex datasets to derive actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure clarity in reporting and effective storytelling of findings.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau (essential).
  • Experience within a market research setting (open on sector background).
  • Experience with Brandwatch (a bonus, but not mandatory) or Power BI (acceptable, though Tableau will be the primary tool).

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Stakeholder management experience, with an ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in translating data into actionable recommendations.
  • A track record in data storytelling – transforming raw data and market research findings into insights and a ‘so what’ that drives business strategy.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering insights.
  • Own relationships with data aggregation, social listening, and competitive intelligence providers.
  • Developing solutions whereby insights from each of the above can be housed in single platforms for self-service reporting by stakeholders.
