Qualitative Associate Director – Social Impact Research

The Client:
We are working with a communications agency who create bespoke programmes and campaigns for leading brands, government, charities and partners. They specialise in social impact research, particularly within Education, Young People and Communities. This role sits in their Research and Strategy team.

Their mission is to help provide young people with the skills and opportunities to thrive. They work with education providers as well as brands (such as The Premier League, J.P Morgan, the Paralympic Association) to drive social impact throughout their businesses and help them to better understand what young people need for their futures.

The Role:
This is a hands on qualitative fieldwork role, conducting face to face focus groups, workshops, interviews and ethnography. Often with children and young people, such as in Schools. Experience conducting youth research is highly desired and/or knowledge of education policy.

You will be joining a small research team as the Qualitative Lead. You’ll work with the Quantitative Lead across mixed method projects.

Role responsibilities (in short):
– Designing and conducting qualitative fieldwork (F2F and online). Focus groups, workshops, interviews, ethnography. Often with children and young people, such as in Schools.
– Line management of 2.
– Project management, client management, running projects full service.
– Supporting the internal sales team on business development – proposal writing, cred decks and pitching.
