In this role, you will be invited to join their ‘passion networks’ to debate and build knowledge of key media-related topics and news that they and the wider industry are passionate about. There will also be the opportunity to develop your own skills further, through their extensive training academy.

The Work
The Media team is all about understanding audiences – who they are, how audiences make content choices and how media companies engage with people. They focus on many different specialisms, such as tech, gaming, kids/youth, sport and audience representation.

Recent projects have looked at exploring our trust in Generative AI, how females are portrayed in the media, how brands can reshape perceptions and representations around communities to the role of Gen Z in the metaverse!

The Role
This role will be pivotal to the execution and delivery of both large and small research projects, for global, leading technology and media clients.

It’s an incredibly varied and interesting role, including:

  • Leading qualitative media studies across creative testing and new product development.
  • Telling the stories that provide actionable insights and impact business decisions.
  • Managing multiple projects and clients, full service.
  • Developing the qual skills of your junior members of the team.
  • Getting involved in the creation of thought leadership and marketing materials.

You
We are looking for someone with 3+ years of qualitative research experience from a research agency. You’ll be a Senior Research Executive or Research Manager. You’ll be obsessed with all things media and passionate about technology and society, with a strong curiosity of people and culture, on a global scale.

We are looking for someone with proven qualitative skills such as workshops, focus groups and in depth interviews. Online research experience is a bonus, as is semiotics.
