We’re looking for a Qualitative Research Manager/Associate Director to join the custom research team of a leading market intelligence & insight business.

The company:

  • They’re specialists in the tech and media sector clients include the likes of Google, Amazon & Samsung, Cisco, Intel, Microsoft and Hollywood film studios! They’re a team of around 50 in the UK and they also have a business in the USA too.
  • The business has tripled in size in the last few years and we’ve helped hire over 10 people for this company.
  • They said what people like about this business vs some of the bigger consultancies is growth and autonomy.

The role:

  • The role sits in the custom research team (a team of 12) who support clients on a range of ad hoc projects. Primary quant in nature currently but more and more clients are requesting qualitative work, so they’re looking to bring in specialist qualitative expertise to help service clients.
  • The role will be about running qual projects end to end for clients conducting running focus groups, in depth interviews, diary studies and more innovative approaches such as eye tracking. The role will also involve spotting opportunities with clients to develop more qualitative business.

Skills:

  • 4 years+ of consumer qualitative experience
  • Tech/entertainment sector experience a bonus but not essential.
  • Experienced in a range of qual methods, focus groups, IDIs, diary studies etc.

It’s a really exciting role that you can really make it your own. We placed the same role a few years ago on the custom quant side (with this person now leading the team and it having grown to 12 people)
